Numbats!
A workshop with Peta Korb
Join textile artist Peta Korb of Country Chicks Creations for a two day workshop creating a realistic needle felted Numbat.
Learn how to create a strong and semi-posable felt sculpture, how to blend wool fibres and the techniques required for achieving long fur on your Numbat.
You will be guided step by step through the process of creating an armature that is strong and semi-posable, then using wool to build up the body for an accurate shape, and how to expertly detail the numbats face and those intricate markings.
Participants of all levels of experience are welcome, Peta has a unique style of teaching which enables everyone to work at their own pace throughout the two days. Due to the detail of the Numbat participants may not fully complete their sculpture during the two days, however you will have learnt the skills and be given the support needed to complete the Numbat at home.
Participant Experience Level: All level of experience welcome.
Duration of Workshop: 2 Days
Approximate materials cost if you had to buy everything: $50
