Toss n Tell – Language of Fibre
Peta Korb of Country Chicks Creations will join us for the first Toss n Tell of the year and will welcome you to the world of fibre and help you to unravel the sometimes confusing language used. Explore the mystery of the different types of wool, stages of processing and uses along with the added bonus of being able to actually see and feel what that actually means with the samples Peta will have on hand. The session will also explore what other types of fibres are out there and how they can be used in your felting. Peta is experienced in both wet and dry (needle) felting and will share with you the information she has learnt over the years to maximise your enjoyment on your journey into the world of fibre and felting.
Peta will have her Country Chicks Creations pop up shop in the main hall from 10.00am closing during demonstration and reopening again after. Needle and wet felting tools and fibres will be available. Peta will have some specially curated sample packs available for sale on the day.
