enews cover
Hello reader
We hope you had a lovely summer break and are ready to jump into 2024 which is shaping up to be another big year. We are going straight to it - here's the announcements, and as always check the home page for all of the event details.

We have added to our regular Toss n Tell days with 2 new activities.
  1. Following some of our demonstrations there will now be a Demo & Do session. The demonstrating tutor will be there after the demo to assist you in implementing the new technique or idea they covered. Check the event on the home page - it will clearly say Demo & Do and there will be a materials list.
  2. We have a Group Project - Seasons for 2024. We are going to create a new hanging for Craft House that will do the rounds of competitions and public displays. We plan to have at least 3 group doing days.
We have a new Discovery Days program - Poly Clay Play Days - what has polymer clay got to do with felting!? Polymer clay is perfect for making all kinds of things that can compliment and accentuate your work. Think fasteners, buttons, focal pieces like beads and centre pieces - and anything else your felt needs! Starts in April runs till December.

Our Skill Extension & Beginners Workshops will have some new topics and faces, besides our marvellous regular tutor Sue Eslick (who BTW is doing her fabulous Hattitude Workshop in August) Sara Quail will be joining the Skill Extension team.

And now to the stupendous news - that we have been hinting at for a while. Drum roll please. We are very pleased to announce that at our Nanga Bush Retreat the internationally renown Fiona Duthie will be with us the entire retreat guiding us through a specially tailored workshop. Just for us. Those who were eligible to book the retreat will receive a separate eNews with all the booking details.

Keep scrolling down for a round up of the first 6 months.

See you all soon
