We have a free felting day Saturday August 5th 10am - 4pm. Bring your felting gear and lunch for a great day of felting and chatting - of course!

The AGM is next month Saturday 19th August and we look forward to seeing all the goodies at Trash & Treasure. No need to book a table - doors open for sellers at 9:30am and buyers at 10:00am. All things related to felting and textiles welcome, including suppliers.

Learn the basics of 3 dimensional wet felt making and create a unique bag from fine merino wool.  Using soap, water and massage, we will create a seamless felt bag. You will learn how to add handles, flaps or pockets – the possibilities are endless!

Basic templates will be provided that can be adjusted to each individual design.

Felted craters can be so much fun, they can be hollow, or erupting with felt or other textiles and give a fabulous deep and earthy texture to felt wall hangings or sculptures. Join us to make a felt sample with a variety of filled and hollow craters. This workshop will give participants the skills to make a larger piece using these new techniques.

The City of Stirling biennial Art Awards and Exhibition will return from 4 - 12 November 2023, with an extraordinary collection of new works from established and emerging Western Australian artists.
