Hello reader
This year is ticking along nicely with Sue Eslick's Fantasy Hats or Tea Cosy workshop sold out, and only a couple of spots are left for Anita Larkin. Anita's workshop is such an amazing opportunity to study under one of Australia's most creative thinkers and a brilliant felter. During the 3 days Anita will open your creative eyes and expand the ideas that you play with - I am very excited (if you can't tell) and I can't wait for April as I missed out last time but not this time!

We are also pleased to announce a wonderful workshop with UK artist - Chris Lines who is teaching her Faces in Felt workshop May 1st - 3rd. This 3 day workshop promises to bring printing technology skills to felting to produce quite ethereal portraits on felt. Bookings are open now. If you are tempted by this workshop please book as early as possible as there is pre-workshop tasks to be done for you by Chris and the earlier she gets them the better the result.

Our Extension Skills program is off and running with 3D felting first off the mark - these mini workshops are perfect for beginners, expanding your techniques or even refreshing your skills. Small class numbers mean great attention from our very experienced tutors. These skills will allow you to take your felting life in many different directions and give you the confidence to participate in the many other workshops we hold where prior experience is required. The full calendar of this program can be found below or here on our site: https://feltwest.org.au/skill-extension-program/

Did you know that Feltwest has had 4 major exhibitions over the years? To see the amazing creations checkout the videos under Exhibitions on our site: https://feltwest.org.au/galleries/ Maybe time for another one? 2021 might be the year!

And of course Toss n Tell 21st March is just around the corner but I'll tell you more in the next eNews.

Looking forward to seeing you all. Happy felting.
