Feltwest has successfully secured a stall at the extremely well attended Perth Makers Market at Heathcote on May 23rd 2021. The Perth Makers Market have a huge reputation for quality Western Australian handmade items that have been curated to provide a fantastic range. We plan to use the May market as a learning experience for another stall at the immensely popular December markets. If we make a good impression upon the organisers I am sure we will be successful in the sought after December slot. I think our beautiful felt creations will make a huge impact on the organisers and most importantly the shoppers who regularly attend. This is important for us as a collective if we wish to pursue selling our works and give loyal following of buyers a regular event to rely on. This was a proven success when we participated annually at the Fremantle Art Centre December Bazaar. Unfortunately they are no longer interested in large groups holding stalls.

We want to encourage every member to participate no matter how small a contribution it maybe. We aim to support a great representation of Feltwest through your quality handmade felt in a renowned arts market.

COSTS TO MEMBERS
|
The committee has set the entrance fee at $10 regardless of the number of items submitted, and a very low 10% commission will also be payable to Feltwest on all sales.
|

YOUR CONTRIBUTION
As there is limited space in the stall, the obligation of members to participate on a roster is different from large events. There will still be a roster with timeslots for assisting with sales at the stall but there will also be a list of jobs and tasks that need filling. When you pay your Entrance Fee $10 you will be asked to chose a Market Team.

PROMOTION OF STALL
|
It would be fantastic if every member could share our promotional material to Facebook or Instagram at least once, and/or send a flyer to your network via email or post a printed copy to a notice board to spread the word. We do have a loyal following of people who love to buy our felt - we just need to let them know where and when.
