The 2023 calendar is shaping up nicely with just a few events to be finalised.

We have lots of news about 2023 including some exciting Workshops & Toss n Tell news.
enewsXmas
Over the past few months we have asked for your ideas and suggestions and we have listened. An overwhelming thread was that of time. Many expressed the inability to attend multiple day workshops in one weekend. Family, friends and work commitments have prevented members from booking the entire weekend - and we have seen this in slow bookings for extended workshops.

To help with this we are trialing split month workshops. Where suitable or possible, and of course with the agreeance of the tutor, 2 or more day workshops will be held on different months. For example, our first workshop for the year is a 2 day workshop and will be held on the first Saturday in February and the first Saturday in March. To further help with time management in this instance, there will be a third "catch up" day held on the first Saturday in May in case you can't attend one of the other days. More details below.

This doesn't mean there will be less workshops, as we are also utilising the Studio space in Craft House where the subsequent days need less space than the hall.

Another fact of your responses was Materials Lists for workshops. Many responded that they are more likely to attend a workshop when the materials required are included in the cost of the workshop - so where possible we have asked tutors to do just that. This means that there may be 2 prices for workshops -one with materials and one without - if you have a stash full you may not wish to purchase more.

Along the same lines is Toss n Tell attendance. Many of our Members and past Members just can't get to Craft House on Saturdays. Meaning many past Members haven't renewed as they feel they are understandably not getting any benefit. So we are trialing some online content for Toss n Tell. With the permission of the demonstrator we will video the demo and post to the web site under the Members Only area.

We have more news about our new Discovery Days Program (starting in March) and some online content for Beginners Workshops but we'll save that for the next eNews. Scroll down for the Bookings Now Open or checkout the home page as the calendar is filling up nicely.

Have a safe and joyous summer break and we look forward to seeing you either in person or online in the New Year.
