enews cover
Hello reader

We are very pleased to announce the opening of bookings for 3 Workshops, 3 Skill Extensions & 3 Beginners Classes.

We start the year in February with Kaye Louwen who will take you through a fabulous method for making Nuno felted tops which are the perfect weight for our climate. Followed in March by the wonderfully whimsical needle felted Babushka Dolls with Vimol Imsanguan - if you haven't done any needle felting don't worry the first Skill Extension class in February is needle felting which will give you the basic skills.

March also has our first Beginners for the year - repeating in June & September - if you have a friend who might be interested - the Beginners & Membership bundle gives them a $10 voucher to spend on any other workshop through out the year.

April sees us getting ready for winter making Magical Slippers with Sharn Bruere. Slippers were requested repeatedly last year so here is your chance - jump in these spots will fill fast. Also in April - Mini Vessels from Multiple Resists with Prefelts & Batts following in May.

We have nearly all of our Toss n Tell programme locked in and first up in February is Martien Van Zuilen with Instant Smocking & Sculptural Effects. There will be a demo and hands on activity with a popup shop. In March we are having a Timeless Collaboration Project making day in preparation for our exhibition.

Unfortunately in 2022 our regular Toss n Tell day falls on the Easter weekend, and as many of us leave Perth for at least part of the 4 day holiday, have family engagements or simply need a break we have decided not to hold Toss n Tell in April. But we are back in May with Nancy Ballesteros and her always comprehensive 9 Ways to Lay Wool and of course a popup shop.

The web site calendar has been populated with the whole year's activities and events and we will keep you informed when bookings are opened. Follow the links for full details and please remember to login to get Members prices.

Last but not least - this Tuesday is last delivery day for Perth Makers Markets!

Cheers for now.
