We just had to share the photos from last Saturday's Uthando Doll Project at Toss n Tell. The amazing ladies at the Uthando Project opened our eyes and hearts to their incredible charity works with children in KwaZulu-Natal. It was lovely to see our membership respond so generously and have so much fun dressing and accessorising the dolls. We have 8 doll kit & book packs that will be available for sale at our next Toss n Tell (which will also be the AGM) so those who couldn't attend can still participate. We are asking that any completed dolls be returned at the October Toss n Tell meeting as there is a shipment to South Africa in early November.

Feltwest Workshops & COVID Uncertainty –Full Refund Guaranteed
Feltwest would like to reassure our membership that if workshops have to be cancelled, postponed or if numbers are restricted because of a COVID lockdown Feltwest will be giving full refunds to any participant.
This could mean that Feltwest will incur unavoidable expenses. We recognise that in these very uncertain economic times that every cent counts, and unfortunately it is often the things we love the most that we have to give up first. Due to the diligent financial management by successive committees over the past 25 years, Feltwest can weather this down turn. We hope that our reasonable membership and workshop fees will continue to sustain us. To date we have been lucky enough to only have to reschedule one workshop and cancel one other.
We also understand that sometimes the cost of the materials for a workshop is a consideration. May we suggest that you gather the materials as close to the date as is possible for your situation. If materials are an issue please contact the tutor involved to see if there are alternatives. We will keep this point in mind during our planning day in late September.
Please, if you wish to do a workshop but are hesitant due to uncertainty or financial constraints be assured you will receive a refund if we must cancel.

A big thank you to those 75 members who have renewed so far, and hopefully the rest of you will also be able to rejoin us for the fun, felting and comradery in 21-22. As stated we have our planning meeting in late September and we welcome workshop and Toss n Tell event suggestions.
