Join us to make a beautiful felt bowl with multiple concentric layers in different colours or shades. You will learn to use and join multiple resists to form one multi-layered bowl.

Participant Experience Level: Intermediate experience – participants should be experienced in laying out wool and producing even layered felt.  Experience in felting around a resist is desirable.

Tutor – Sue Eslick

I have been experimenting with three dimensional felt for the last 15 years, mainly making hats, bags and tea pot cosies.  Three dimensional felting is a form of sculpture, and I like to experiment with felt shapes to make quirky and unusual hats, bags and tea cosies that still have a practical application.  My work also includes use of nuno felting and surface stitching to add texture and definition to my pieces.
