Hello reader

Toss n Tell this Saturday!

Welcome back to Feltwest for 2021.

We have a cracking mini workshop with Sue Eslick this Saturday - Name Badges. Bring along a piece of felt big enough to contain your name and some lovely embellishments. Search your stash bag for beads, buttons, felt scraps, exotic threads, fancy papers or fabric as well as needles, scissors, and your lunch! Bring along some extra bits and pieces and we can do a stash swap. We will be talking about the types of fasteners, suitable glues and loads of other tips, tricks and techniques. There will be some findings available for sale. If you already have a name badge bring it along for everyone to see.

Toss n Tell Table

Bring along all the amazing things you have created over the summer break or even over the years. If you took up the UFO Challenge late last year please bring the end result. If you have a disaster bring that along - they are the best thing to learn from. It doesn't matter what you bring we would all love to see it.

Workshops Open

There is still time to book into Cracked Earth and we have opened the next Skill Extension Workshop - Nuno Frills and Roses. Vimol's Felted Eggs - Exquisite Detail and Martien's Felt Adorned both have places left. All 3 Beginners Workshops are also open with a couple spots left in the March workshop.

On the subject of Workshops you may know that we have Workshop Hosts that assist our Tutors and provide refreshments through out the workshop. If you would like to be a Workshop Host then please talk to one of the committee to find out more.

The Library is open again!

Don't forget the Library is open again - we have over 200 items available check them out online and reserve for collection on Saturday. Instructions on the new system are below in this eNews.

I think that's all for now - really looking forward to seeing you and starting our year of felting together.
